Meet The SCREENPLAY & DIRECTOR
Annick is an engaged artist that works close to the community through her love and passion for theatre, dance and her writings. Originally from the island of Mauritius, Annick was engaged in supporting the impoverished artists back then.
During her journey in her homeland, she had the privileged to work closer to some of the greatest local artists, who through their art was able to make changes in socio- economic problems.
Annick was very creative since young age. Her love and passion for art, has brought her in Australia since 2006. She has helped with few projects in theatre, multicultural community, and Mauritian community.
Since 2017, she has decided that she wants to tell her own story, and is very devoted as a writer. She wrote and direct ‘Code Noir” and untold story from her motherland, which touches human nature and conditions through the law that legalised slavery. Code Noir will be released next year 2022.
